Specific characteristics


The wood
Oak from the best Austrian, German, French or Slavonic regions is used. The best quality wood is cut into quarters and seasoned naturally in the open air, for at least 48 months, depending on the thickness and seasons.

Bending and Toasting
All Bariques are slightly curved by direct fire, keeping the thickness constant along the entire length of the stave.

Interior and exterior finishing

The interior and exterior of each barique is finished manually. This process is followed by the application of circles, made of high quality steel. Finally, a special natural varnish is applied, which allows breathing and protects the wood from mold and impurities throughout the period of use.
